With six championships, Bob Loomis has more NRHA Open Futurity victories than any other rider in the industry. Not only is Bob in the NRHA Hall of Fame; but so is his phenomenal stallion, Topsail Whiz. Bob Loomis has been training reining horses since 1967. He began his breeding program in 1974, which now operates at the cutting edge of equine reproduction.
Loomis ranch currently stands Topsail Whiz, NRHA's 3rd Two-Million Dollar Sire, and one of his exceptional sons, West Coast Whiz, earner of $131,592. Bob also trained and stood Topsail Cody, NRHA's 4th Million Dollar Sire, NRHA Open Futurity Champion, and AQHA World Champion Junior Reining.
Bob and Pam Loomis enjoy raising miniature donkeys, miniature horses, and their Texas Longhorns. Bob and Pam have two daughters, Bobbie and her husband Coby, of Sulpher, OK, and Kelli and her husband James of Ardmore, OK. They have five grandchildren Aaron, Jacob, Gatlin, Coby Jo, and Garrett.
Bob is in the NRHA Hall of Fame, and was the 1982 President of the National Reining Horse Association. Pam Loomis sells prime ranch and farm real estate with Maureen Realty, and regularly has new listings available.
